In parallel with other services ECCUK provides services on health related issues. Our services are reliable and confidential to all our clients.

Update and reliable information on how the National Health Service (NHS) operates in this country, as the system is quite different from that of the Ministry of Health in Ethiopia, or the health care system in Ethiopia;
Able to find a General Practitioner (GP) for those who cannot find one in his/her area;
Advocates with GP practices and Hospitals on behalf of our clients;
Visits patients in hospital;
Helps in interpretation and translation;
Professional advice and information on any health related issues;
Provides counselling on any health related issues, particularly on mental health and psychological problems;
Provides awareness and prevention services on HIV/AIDS
Provides free condoms;
Provides information on prevention of teenage and unwanted pregnancy;
Translates useful materials from English into Amharic and make available for readers;
Provides information on cervical and breast cancers and refer to a specialist clinic;
Organises health promotion events including health education;
Networking with other community organizations that provide health services;
Works with GPs, Hospitals, and Health and Social Services in order to bring to their attention the culture, customs, traditions, values and health belief of Ethiopians that have great impact on our health; and
